IBPS Bank PO Exam and Question Papers Pattern

Getting an Officers post in PSB’S is  an excellent professional achievement as well as there is a good scope in PSB’S for this IBPS  conducts its examination every year for the recruitment of Probationary officers in the Indian Public Sector Banks. Before turning 25 , if you become a PO you can end up retiring as a Zonal Manager if you have that zeal in you.

The examination will take place in two phases first the Preliminary Examination and Then Mains Examination followed by an Interview.

Preliminary Examination

It is the first phase of IBPS PO examination that will consist a 100 marks paper which you will have to finish within 1 hour. The marks will not be added to the final score but to check who is eligible for giving Mains examination.

Mains Examination

The Mains Examination is the dad of all difficult exams as well as the most important one where candidate has to secure good marks to get a job in PSB’s, the paper will be of 200 marks and only 2 hours will be given to complete the paper.

Now comes the most sternest part, the “INTERVIEW”  its no less than a dilemma for the candidate who had cleared both Preliminary and Mains Examination, here occurs the most tactic situation for him to give his last and best shot. After obtaining minimum cut off marks in the Mains examination you will be called for an interview which will consist of 100 marks and in this you are supposed to obtain 40 for General& OBC and 35 for SC/ST  for final selection in the PSB’s.

As per the information the final allotment will be done according to basis of seats availability and preference order filled by you in the Application form. The final selection takes place on 1 april every year and the marks scored in the mains examination and interviews are adjusted in the ratio of 80:20 to make a list of candidates who have proudly cleared the examination.
